Adalita Srsen

Born on the 25th of February in 1971, the Australian front woman for Magic Dirt bought her first guitar at the age of 18 for $80. Whilst writing and playing with the band, one of the first few gigs played was along side Hole and Silverchair at Big Day Out in 95'.

Fast forward and after many success and failures, Srsen continued with her solo career in 2006, releasing a cover song "double Dare" with which a video was made, Srsen returned to Magic Dirt and continues to write for the band. "Life was Better" reached #1 in the Australian alternative chart and stayed there for nearly 4 months, joining Warner Brothers and releasing many other Jems such as "ice" and "Amoxycillian", Srsens music has continued to impress her fans and will continue to do so for many years to come.

"Dean knew Daniel from skating, and then he moved in with us, and we'd play like one song for forty minutes, we just loved it."
